In Ang Paggawa Nino ng Ano Kanino, an eye—atop bolted brass—gazes upward, fixated on the peak of a crooked metal scaffolding that rises separately from a wooden base. This act of looking becomes a metaphor for questioning: Who makes what, for whom—and at what cost? Through industrial materials and symbolic form, Alex dissects the mechanisms of belief, labor, and power—challenging the viewer to rethink the scaffolds we build and the eyes that watch them.
