Part of a Lenten season exhibit, Lust of the Eyes is a vivid relief sculpture featuring a pair of eyes with mirrored irises, staring directly at the viewer. Using epoxy and mirror on wood, Alex invites reflection—both literal and spiritual—on desire, vanity, and the act of looking, drawing from the biblical notion of temptation as seen through the gaze.
